Brewery Floor Rehab

A Northern California Brewery had a serious erosion problem in one of they’re processing areas. As you can see, the concrete was severely eroded and actually had rebar showing through in places. The owners wanted to repair the damage and have a flooring system installed that would hold up to the chemical attack in the area. The flooring system was comprised of a high strength repairs mortar to repair the cracks and erosion followed by Tnemec’s 245, a high quality Urethane Cement.

The work was done in two days, the first consisted of cleaning and scarifying the concrete as well as installing the repair mortar. The urethane Cement was applied 1/4″ thick and a light broadcast of white aluminum oxide was applied to provide additional slip resistance. The project was completed Sunday evening and put back into service Monday morning.
